Sometime this Winter, our signal on 101.5FM covering The Dalles and Hood River area of northern Oregon and southern Washington, will go away. The license has been purchased by another broadcaster. This saddens us greatly. We had much higher hopes.
On the air for barely three years, the poor child lost the bulk of what little local business support it had in it’s first year and then COVID hit, wiping out virtually all income other than a handful of our dedicated listeners. To them, and to the great folks at Schulten’s Motors, who stuck with us through thick and thin, we thank you for supporting this fledgling experiment in freeform radio for the Gorge. Our Jiveradio stream will continue to crank out the same great mix, hopefully for years to come.
