Todd Snider’s June 15, 2001 solo-acoustic performance at Reno’s Wingfield Park Amphitheater as one act in the 2001 “Rollin’ on the River” concert series presented by the Reno News and Review newspaper and produced by Jeff Cotton. Top of video features SF musician Heather Combs in the last song of her set opening for Todd.

This grainy, and rather poor-sounding video nevertheless relates the first set of Todd Snider & The Nervous Wrecks appearance at John Ascuaga’s Nugget in Sparks Nevada on October 3, 2005 for an episode of the Comstock Radio Hour live radio and internet broadcast. Some bonehead in the audience stands in front of the camera for the last five minutes or so.

A complete, fuller-fidelity audio recording of the concert is available on our Todd Snider page under our “Concerts” menu tab above.

There were gigs, and then there were special gigs. Leon Redbone was always in the latter category. For the first of a few live concert recordings of those special nights, check out our new Leon Redbone artist page under the ‘Concerts’ menu above.

If you don’t know who Leon was, or would like to know more, check out this 16-minute documentary with interviews with John Prine, John Hammond Jr. and others HERE.
