Ok, well, the proof readers union was on strike last week. In any case, we just built a “Press Page” HERE for those of you who missed some of the Jive’s 15 seconds of spotlight fame in local newspapers. Watch out for what the big bald guys says. He’s no potentate.

That is what the mighty radio hate monger Rush Limbaugh said of our beloved Jerry Garcia shortly after his death in 1995. Rush, a longtime opiate addict who was convicted of fraud, left the planet today. Uh, Rush: BUH-BYE.

Congrats and many thanks to Jiveradio’s ONE & ONLY live DJ, Sisters’ own “DJ Jim”, for having hosted two hundred “Live Jive with DJ Jim” shows on KJIV, Jive’s central Oregon FM station (which also generates the stream). With rare exceptions, and for myriad reasons, mostly monetary, Jiveradio has never really had a regular real-time-live DJ…until Jim Goodwin came along.

We had immediate simpatico and Jim has carved out his Mon/Wed/Fri mornings for almost 2 years helping us make greater radio and bringing some good loco into local, like no other station the the area. Jim is our critical connection to the local and regional musicians and helps us expose them to the world. Well over 600 hours of his volunteer time to help make your Schizoclectic radio adventures just a little more human.
